Digital Intelligence Platform Unifies Urban Governance in Beijing's Yichuang Zone
Peiching Yichuang is positioned as a model for digital transformation, linking cloud infrastructure, big-data analytics and artificial-intelligence across a wide array of municipal functions.
The integrated platform receives data from traffic monitoring, environmental sensors, public safety units and elderly-care robots, processing it with large-scale machine-learning models to spot risks in real time.
Both the AI-powered patrol vehicles and the service robots feed information back to the central system, which then generates alerts for municipal staff. After a brief human verification step, the incident is dispatched to frontline responders.
Liu Xiang from the urban management office noted that the AI-driven approach yields faster and more accurate outcomes compared with conventional manual checks.
Since its launch, the platform has streamlined resource allocation, reduced response times and boosted public trust in city authorities.
Officials say the continued expansion of this digital intelligence hub will further refine Beijing’s smart-city ambitions and improve overall governance efficiency.
