Delhi. The consecration of the idol of Ramlala is to be held on January 22 in the grand and newly constructed Ram temple built on 70 acres of land in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya. There is very little time left for the inauguration of the temple, hence preparations are in full swing. The date of Pran Pratistha is coming closer, however, politics regarding this is increasing. Every day the opposition is raising questions on some issue related to the consecration of Ram temple.
Meanwhile, regarding the politics going on over Ram temple, Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham said, “Lord Ram is not a subject of politics. Politics runs through religion. Religion does not work with politics…Lord Ram has his own policy – dignity, unity, sovereignty and peace in the world.”
Actually, NCP leader Jitendra Awhad had given a controversial statement regarding Lord Ram. He had said, “Ram is ours and he is a Bahujan. Ram was not a vegetarian but a non-vegetarian. They used to hunt and eat.” However, he has also apologized for this statement. On this statement, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has described him as foolish and of demonic nature.
On the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Dhirendra Shastri said, “This is the biggest victory for all Hindus and Sanatanis. This festival is much more special than Diwali, everyone is waiting for this day… All the devotees of Lord Ram around the world and all the Indians are waiting for this day.”

It is noteworthy that Ramlala will reside in his grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. Preparations for the consecration of Shri Ram are in the final stages. The whole world will witness this historic moment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to attend the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22 January. The Vedic rituals for the ceremony at the temple will begin on January 16, a week before the event.
