After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, a security alert has been issued on Tuesday night in the capital Delhi. Delhi Police has been instructed to keep strict monitoring of tourist destinations, crowded markets and other historical and religious places. Along with investigation, monitoring has also been increased. Additionally, traffic movement in sensitive areas has been controlled.

The patrol has been extended and additional security forces have been deployed. Along with this, instructions have also been issued to intercept suspected calls coming from abroad, so that the activities of terrorists can be detected in advance and their plans can be failed.

Delhi Police and other security agencies have been instructed to remain more vigilant due to the alert released by the Central Intelligence Units after the Pahalgam terror attack. Delhi Police has started reviewing the security system of areas where the number of tourists is more, such as the Red Fort and Qutub Minar, where security has been increased. Apart from this, security has also been tightened at railway stations, airports and bus bases. All district police chiefs have been instructed to take care of the safety of sensitive places in their respective areas and increase security as per the requirement.

Alert has been issued that terrorists can target crowded places, so there is a need to take full vigilance towards security. Under this, the process of checking by planting barricades at many places has been started. Also, intelligence units have also reported to be vigilant. In view of this situation, Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has ordered the Anti -Terrorism Squad Special Cell to stay completely in alert mode.

Attack on tourists extremely embarrassing: Kejriwal
The Aam Aadmi Party has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Considering this cowardly and inhuman incident as a serious attack against the country and humanity, the party said that despite the claims of the central government, terrorism in Kashmir has not come to an end. AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal called this attack very embarrassing and condemnable and said that targeting unarmed innocent people is a big shock to humanity.
