Defence secretaries discuss joint exercises and industry ties

Earlier in the week, Singapore's High Commissioner Simon Wong met with India's newly appointed Chief of Defence Staff General N.S. Raja Subramani. The two officials reviewed ongoing military drills, personnel exchanges and regular strategic dialogues. They also explored avenues to deepen collaboration in defence procurement, research and development, and capacity building. General Subramani was congratulated on his appointment, and both sides expressed intent to expand joint training opportunities and industrial cooperation.
