Coalition spokesperson says Houthi claims aim to hide losses

According to Turki Al‑Maliki, the coalition believes the Houthi narrative is a tactical move to mask the scale of its own casualties and equipment damage. Citing the Ashrak al‑Awsat interview, Al‑Maliki explained that the group is attempting to manufacture a "fictional triumph" after suffering heavy losses in Taiz province and elsewhere. He warned that the misleading statements could further inflame public frustration and obscure the Houthis' deteriorating relationship with regional allies.
