The Chinese immigration authority has rolled out two new visa‑free initiatives as of August 20. Travelers from Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam can now transit through mainland China for up to 240 hours without a visa, raising the eligible country tally to 57. Simultaneously, Hainan province extends its 30‑day visa‑free entry scheme to a total of 61 qualifying nations.
