Service sector adds nearly 4 million new firms, high‑tech services surge

The service industry recorded 3,957,000 fresh enterprises during the first six months, matching last year’s tally. High‑technology services are especially vibrant: information broadcasting and software technology services saw 322,000 new firms, up 3.3%, while inspection and testing services added 16,000 entities, a 43.9% jump. Technology‑transfer services grew by 6.8% with 459,000 new companies.
