China Sets Up AI Innovation Hubs and 60‑Billion‑Yuan Fund

Eighteen national AI innovation and application zones, including the flagship Beijing‑Chengdu corridor, have received state backing. Together with industry partners, these hubs have drafted nearly 200 technical standards for AI use in manufacturing. A dedicated AI industry investment fund of 60 billion yuan has also been created to fuel startups and scaling projects in key sectors such as raw materials, equipment, consumer goods and electronic information.
