Chardham Yatra 2025: Chardham Yatra starts from April 30 this year, in which the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open first. After this, the doors of Kedarnath on May 2 and Badrinath Dham on May 4 will be opened for devotees. This time some new rules have been implemented during the journey. Before going on the journey, ensure these instructions to follow, so that no inconvenience has to be faced.

Ban on making videos and reel in temple complexes: In Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, devotees will not be allowed to make videos from mobile inside the temple premises, shoot reel and upload on social media. If someone is found to do so, he will be sent back without darshan.
Ban on VIP philosophy: From this year, no devotee will get the facility of VIP philosophy. All passengers will have to go through the process of normal philosophy. This decision has been taken by the temple committee to maintain equality among the devotees.
Registration from Aadhaar card mandatory: Aadhaar card or other legitimate identity card will be compulsory while registering for travel. This will help in fake booking and crowd control.

Strict action will be taken on hotels and travel agents: Strict action will be taken against hotels and travel agents charging more than passengers. The government and local administration will regulate hotel rates so that more money is not taken from the passengers.
Compulsion of health certificate: It will be mandatory to bring medical fitness certificate to people over 50 years of age before going to Kedarnath and other height dhams. This will protect people suffering from heart and respiratory diseases from risk.
Penalty for spreading plastic and dirt: Strict penalty will be imposed on those who spread plastic and waste on the travel route. A special cleanliness drive will be conducted on the banks of river Ganga and Yamuna.
