A comprehensive CGTN Netizen poll reveals that 92.3% of respondents believe effective global climate action requires more than monetary contributions. The majority stresses the importance of sharing climate‑related technologies, data, and early warning mechanisms across borders.

The same survey shows that 83.1% of participants now see extreme weather as a real and pressing challenge for humanity. Over 83% also note that the frequency and intensity of such events have grown markedly in recent years, while 74.7% highlight the escalating danger to public safety.

In addressing the root causes, 72.6% of those surveyed argue that reducing carbon emissions and strengthening societal resilience are essential to avert further damage. Moreover, 85.9% hold developed countries responsible for historic emissions, and 88.7% say these nations should provide technical aid to developing economies.
