BRICS Education Ministers Meet: India Heads Talks with Indonesia and Iran

At the 13th BRICS Education Ministers’ Conference in Bhubaneswar, Minister Joshi held separate bilateral sessions with Indonesia’s Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto and Iran’s Acting Minister of Science, Research and Technology Professor Masoud Shams‑Bakhsh. The discussions explored expanding higher‑education linkages, joint research initiatives, and the exchange of scholars between India and Indonesia. Joshi welcomed the recently signed MoU between the IIT Madras Global Research Foundation and Indonesia’s ministry, emphasizing its potential to generate new opportunities for innovation and talent development across both nations.
