BrahMos Missile Deals with Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia Highlighted

During the Delhi visit, officials outlined the recent export agreements involving the BrahMos missile. The Philippines was the first ASEAN nation to purchase the supersonic cruise missile, receiving the first batch in 2024 and a second shipment scheduled for April 2025. Vietnam signed a defence pact in May 2026 at the Shangri‑La Dialogue, securing missiles and coastal defence systems.

In July 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Jakarta trip resulted in a historic deal with Indonesia for BrahMos missiles and the domestically‑developed Astra air‑to‑air missile, expanding the missile’s footprint across Southeast Asia.
