BLF Seizes Police Outpost in Shirin‑o‑Farhad, Detains Officers Briefly

The Balochistan Liberation Front announced that on the same day as its reported attack on an army convoy, its fighters captured a police outpost located in the Shirin‑o‑Farhad area. According to the BLF statement, the militants took the stationed police personnel into custody for a short period.

During the operation, a Kalashnikov rifle and other equipment were confiscated. The outpost itself, along with two police vehicles and a motorcycle, were set on fire. After the demolition, the detained officers were released unharmed.

The BLF framed the seizure as part of its ongoing campaign against security forces it accuses of perpetrating repression in the region. The Pakistani government has not yet responded to the claims, and the incident has not been independently corroborated.
