BLA Announces Multiple Attacks Targeting Pakistani Convoys and Commercial Vehicles

The BLA spokesperson, Giyand Baloch, detailed a string of operations that resulted in 33 Pakistani soldiers being killed and numerous injuries. The first major strike on August 18 took place between Dalbandin and Yakamach, where militants ambushed a military convoy, killing three soldiers and damaging several commercial trucks. In the Charsar sector, three separate convoy attacks caused heavy losses, while an IED placed near Makai in Kalat district detonated as troops entered an empty bunker, killing six on the spot. On August 17, an IED blast near Hoshab’s Tal area killed two soldiers and wounded four. The BLA also reported seizing two commercial vehicles on the Chagai trade route, puncturing tires of two trucks in the Jareen forest, and creating prolonged traffic jams on the Kharn‑Quetta highway.
