BLA’s HMDf Unit Targets Pakistani Maritime Patrols, Reports 13 Fatalities

In a recent proclamation, the Baluch Liberation Army said its newly formed maritime defense force, the HMDf, carried out its second sea‑borne mission against Pakistan’s coast guard. The operation, carried out off Jiwani, resulted in 13 Pakistani servicemen being killed. The BLA’s media wing, Hakkal, circulated footage showing four gunmen on a speedboat approaching a coast guard vessel and opening fire. The group warned that its capabilities now extend to deep‑water targets, including naval installations and assets, reinforcing its demand for an independent Baluchistan.
