The Baluch Liberation Army took responsibility for a coordinated strike on a Pakistani military convoy in the Mastung district, targeting a convoy of buses that included army troops, security details and arriving units. The BLA described the operation as a "well‑organized, high‑intensity" assault carried out by its "Fatah Squad". The insurgents claim the attack resulted in more than 45 deaths among Pakistani security forces and a large number of injuries, with numbers possibly climbing as the conflict zone remains volatile.
