Bhote Koshi River Flood Devastates Multiple Districts

The catastrophic flooding has damaged residential areas, hydro‑electric projects, customs offices and power infrastructure across the affected districts. Roads have been washed away and many villages are cut off, hampering relief distribution. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) reported that as of 11 a.m., 826 individuals could not be reached, including 579 tourists whose status remains unclear.
