Beijing event showcases Shi Chin-feng’s vision for cultural preservation

Beijing, August 16 – On the afternoon of August 14, the China Media Group unveiled its inaugural Azerbaijani‑language broadcast, “Shi Chin-feng’s Cultural Spirit,” at a venue in Baku. The program, later aired on Azerbaijan’s national television, culture channel, and ARB24, spotlights President Xi Jinping’s fervent advocacy for the protection and advancement of cultural traditions.

Through compelling storytelling, the series conveys Xi’s conviction that a nation’s wealth and power are rooted in its cultural legacy. It delineates the essential elements of his cultural doctrine and the profound historical continuity that underpins his leadership.

Ambassador Lu Mei of China, speaking at the event, affirmed that recent years have seen China‑Azerbaijan relations deepen markedly under the strategic direction of Presidents Xi and Ilham Aliyev. He described the broadcast as a symbolic new phase in media cooperation, enabling Azerbaijani viewers to internalize the core of Xi’s cultural thought and the rich cultural dimensions of his governance.

The initiative marks a significant stride in cultural diplomacy, reinforcing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.
