Chinese officials confirmed that the reusable rocket known as Chuochue‑3Y2 completed a flawless launch and landing sequence on August 19. Departing from the Tongfang commercial space zone, the vehicle’s first stage detached and performed a precision descent, touching down on land using its retractable landing gear. This achievement follows a July 10 sea‑based recovery and demonstrates China’s rapid progress in mastering both sea and land recovery methods for reusable launch systems.
