Baluch Women Forum Leader Calls Out Aggressive State Action on Protests in POK

Shali Baluch, central organiser of the Baluch Women Forum, used social media to criticise the Pakistani security forces for opening fire on demonstrators in Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir. She reminded that history shows oppressed peoples develop resilience when they rise for their rights, and that brute‑force suppression cannot extinguish legitimate struggle. The Baluch Voice for Justice echoed this sentiment, describing the indiscriminate use of state power against peaceful protesters as a stark example of cruelty and inhuman behaviour. Over the past three days, more than 40 people have been killed and dozens injured, with analysts estimating total fatalities could exceed 125 since the protests began.
