Families of missing Baloch face intimidation as rights curbed

BYC warns that families of the disappeared are subjected to repeated intimidation, threats, arrests and the use of force when they organize peaceful demonstrations. The report says that fundamental freedoms—freedom of expression, the right to peaceful assembly, movement and protest—have been severely restricted across the province. It also cites the persecution of Baloch activists Mahrang Baloch and Bebarg Baloch, detained since March 2025, who have allegedly been denied basic medical care on the instructions of intelligence agencies.
