Authorities urge safe driving after multiple highway accidents claim lives

The Ministry of Interior’s provincial police spokespeople warned citizens on Sunday after two separate crashes resulted in three fatalities and four injuries across Afghanistan. In Khost’s Manduzai district, a passenger vehicle collided with a truck on the main highway, killing two passengers and injuring three.

A second incident in Mazar‑e‑Sharif, Balkh province, involved two passenger cars; one person died while another was hospitalized. Officials appealed to all drivers to respect traffic laws and drive cautiously to reduce the nation’s growing road‑safety challenges.
