Air defence, LNG and winter aid top agenda in Kyiv talks

During the meeting with Steve Wittkoff and Jared Kushner, President Zelensky highlighted three priority areas: strengthening Kyiv’s air‑defence shield, securing a steady flow of American liquefied natural gas, and finalising a winter aid package. He warned that without robust protection and energy supplies, civilian resilience would erode.

The diplomats confirmed that progress had been made in Moscow where they recently met President Vladimir Putin. Both sides are hopeful that a formal announcement of a renewed trilateral negotiation can follow shortly.
