Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinic Yojana is the best scheme of the government. Villagers of forest and remote areas are getting maximum benefit from this. A woman from Takaraguda, who had come to meet the Chief Minister, thanked the Chief Minister saying this. On being asked by the Chief Minister, the woman told that 12 types of diseases are being investigated in the clinic set up in Haat-Bazar. It is as if the hospital has come in front of the house. The clinic starts from 10 o’clock on market days and continues till 5 in the evening. In the meet-and-greet program, the women appreciated the Mukhya Mantri Haat Bazar Clinic scheme and said that it has now made health facilities available to them easily. The villagers, especially the elderly, also described the Mukhya Mantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojna as a gift from the government to the people of remote Vananchal and said that now there is no need to go to quacks and Baiga-Guniyas for treatment. People have started getting free treatment and medicines along with getting their checkup done by going to the Haat Bazar clinic. It is worth mentioning here that on the special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, with the objective of providing health facilities to the people in the remote rural and inaccessible areas of the state, it was started in the state from October 2, 2019. Under this, mobile teams of doctors, nursing, paramedical organize health camps in the Haat Bazaars in rural areas, test and treat the patients who come there and also provide medicines. So far 79,859 health camps have been organized in the Haat Bazars of the State. Through which more than 30 lakh 23 thousand patients have been provided health facilities. With the introduction of Haat Bazar Clinic scheme, maternal and child mortality has come down along with ensuring continuous monitoring of the nutritional level of women and children in rural and forest areas of the state. Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic has helped a lot in the malaria eradication campaign in Bastar region. So far, more than 2.50 lakh people have been tested for malaria through Haat Bazar clinics, more than 5.18 lakh people have been diagnosed with diabetes, 39,901 people have been diagnosed with hypertension, 19,352 people have been HIV tested, 2.75 lakh people have been tested for anemia, more than one lakh people have been tested. Screening of eye disorders of people, TB test of 26 thousand people and ANC test of more than 52 thousand pregnant women were done.
