

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the convocation ceremony of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad today as the Chief Guest. Today will be a passing out parade of IPS probationers of 2018 batch. In this program, Modi will connect with the officers through video conferencing at 11 am and talk to the officers.
131 officers, including 28 women, will attend the
parade. The convocation parade takes place after 11 months of training of IPS probationers. A salute is given to the Chief Guest. The best officers of the batch handle the responsibilities of parade commander and platoon commander. Academy director Atul Karwal said that 131 IPS probationers including 28 women will attend the passing out parade.
IPS probationer DV Kiran Shruti said, “I am delighted to be declared the best probationer. I have received the Tamil Nadu cadre. I hope to serve the country by working on women’s safety and child safety.”
