Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Puraina-Khapri village under Balodabazar Vidhan Sabha today under his state-wide meet-meet campaign. The Chief Minister arrived at village Puraina-Khapri for food in the hospitality of laborer Mr. Jhanglu Dewangan before his meeting program. The family members of Mr. Jhanglu Dewangan performed Tilak-Aarti at the main door of the house and warmly welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with a bunch of flowers and a shawl. The Chief Minister relished the delicious Chhattisgarhi food served with simplicity by the members of the Dewangan family. The Dewangan family with full intimacy served the Chief Minister rice, lentils, roti with safflower bhaji, red and semi mixed vegetable, munga, potato-large vegetable, bhanta, cabbage peas vegetable, Jimmy Kanda papad, salad and special food. Chirpoti patal chutney was also served. Home owner Jhanglu Dewangan and his wife Smt. Besakhin Bai were feeling proud when the Chief Minister came to have food at their house. The Chief Minister thanked Mr. Dewangan and his family members by presenting gifts for the delicious Chhattisgarhi food. The family members were overjoyed to see the Chief Minister eating food sitting among the family in their hospitality. Mr. Dewangan told the Chief Minister that he had only 75 decimals of agricultural land. There are 12 members in the family, their daughter Smt. Fulkunwar Dewangan is working as a laborer and her elder son Bhagirathi Dewangan helps her in maintaining the family by doing farming in another village. Younger son Ramesh Dewangan Raj works as a mason. On this occasion, along with the Chief Minister, Parliamentary Secretaries, Ms. Shakuntala Sahu and Mr. Chandra Dev Prasad Rai, Chairman of Text Book Corporation, Mr. Shailesh Nitin Trivedi were also present.
