Tata Motors is about to launch its entry-level compact size SUV in the Indian market soon. It has recently been seen on the roads during testing. According to reports, its name is currently being called Tata HBX Tata HBX, but its production version can be named Hornbill.
According to the report, this car will have LED headlamps with sleek LED DRL on the top just like the Harrier. A fine belt line will be found on its side profile. Talking about the rear profile, here are LED tail lamps with unique cut design.
The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine inspired by the Tiago Tiago and the Altrose Altroz will be given as standard in this new Tata car, while the company can also offer 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine in its top variants.
According to experts, the Tata HBX will compete with the Maruti Suzuki S-Preso Maruti S Presso and Ignis Maruti Ignis after the launch of the Tata HBX. There is a buzz that Tata Motors may put the starting price of this mini SUV Mini SUV around Rs 5 lakh to give Maruti Suzuki the competition in this segment.
