Jabra has added to its line-up of true wireless earphones in India with the launch of the all-new Elite 85t series in the country. The Jabra Elite 85t promises “no compromises” in design or its fit. It also comes with Jabra Advanced ANCTM for noise-canceling that which the company claims is a step above the standard ANC offerings.
The earbuds come with dual chipsets for delivering strong ANC capability as well as optimal sound processing. Clad in a small form factor, these earbuds offer ANC as well as HearThrough feature to let you hear your surroundings — both features fully adjustable and with extra focus on natural sound performance and limited occlusion (blockage/closure), achieved via the semi-open design and multiple ANC microphones.
The new Jabra Elite 85t earbuds also promise impressive call quality with the 6-mic technology (three on each ear, two on the outside, one on the inside). It also offers improved wind noise protection while making calls. Microphones on the inside and outside of the earbuds are used to provide Jabra Advanced ANCTM, which allows for improved noise cancellation, filtering out more noise.
Interestingly, the flexibility of the Jabra Advanced ANCTM offers an adjustable dual slider that can go from full ANC to full HearThrough, and anywhere in between, for a “more personalized experience that puts the user in control of their surroundings.”
For sound, the Jabra Elite 85t comes with a 12mm speaker inside a semi-open design. The company claims it has also designed the ear gels to an oval shape for better sealing in the ear. However, as a result of its thin and lightweight design, the company has skimped a little on battery life, with the Elite 85t providing up to 5.5 hours of listening with ANC on, which extends to 25 hours with the charging case with ANC on and 31 hours with ANC off.
