Xiaomi is set to release the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max, introducing a novel design that incorporates the selfie benefits of foldable phones. Both models feature a rear display, offering additional functionalities. The Xiaomi 17 Pro boasts a rear display with a 904 x 572 px resolution and a refresh rate up to 120Hz, reaching 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The front display is a 6.3-inch LTPO panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits of peak brightness, protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, along with a 4,637mm² vapor chamber. The 6,300mAh battery supports 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 25W reverse charging. The rear camera setup includes a main sensor with a 1/1.28” Light Fusion 950L sensor and Leica Summilux lens. The Pro Max features a 6.9-inch LTPO display and a 2.9-inch rear display. It retains the same main sensor but upgrades the telephoto camera with a larger sensor and a brighter lens. Both models are IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
