Transport and Logistics Lead with 1,341 Projects Valued at ₹22.32 Lakh Crore
In the latest infrastructure update, transport and logistics emerge as the dominant segment, comprising 1,341 projects with a total cost of 22.32 lakh crore rupees. This sector’s prominence underscores the government's priority on enhancing national connectivity.
The overall capital outlay for 1,847 large projects stands at 21.97 lakh crore rupees, crossing the 54 % mark of the originally planned 40.54 lakh crore rupees. Among these projects, more than 80 % of the work is complete for 709 initiatives, while 337 projects have already achieved over 80 % of their financial commitments.
These infrastructure endeavors are projected to bolster India’s growth trajectory and generate substantial employment opportunities.
