India’s MSME sector stands to benefit from a new cadre of para‑professionals equipped to provide affordable expertise. The Corporate Friend initiative pools talent from ICAI, ICSI and ICMAI, supported by academic input from IIT Madras and its implementation partners.

The objective is to create a skilled workforce capable of delivering professional assistance at prices that small businesses can bear, thereby fostering easier business operations, job creation and inclusive economic development.

The programme’s launch of a Learning Management System (LMS) signals the start of a structured capacity‑building track, positioning the para‑professional pool as a strategic resource for the formalisation of the MSME landscape.
