Traditional Craftsmen Honored at Red Fort Ceremony Under PM Vishwakarma Scheme

Under the flagship PM Vishwakarma initiative, which has registered three million traditional craftsmen across the country, a select group of one hundred beneficiaries from Delhi-NCR will join the 80th Independence Day ceremony as distinguished guests. The scheme offers skill enhancement, digital tools, financial support and market linkage to artisans. At the Red Fort, each invitee will receive a memento acknowledging their role in sustaining India’s artisanal heritage and will experience the national celebration firsthand.
