TCS, Titan and other Tata units see biggest valuation declines

Among Tata Group’s portfolio, the information‑technology giant TCS suffered the steepest market‑cap erosion, losing ₹42,440 crore after its shares fell 4.79% to ₹2,323.30. Close behind, jewellery maker Titan experienced a near‑2% slide, trimming its valuation to ₹9,304 crore. The decline continued with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, which saw its market capitalisation shrink by ₹4,898 crore, and Tata Steel, down by ₹4,745 crore. Tata Consumer Products, Tata Power and Indian Hotels each lost over ₹1,500 crore. Smaller dents were recorded by Tata Communications, Tata Alexi, Trent, Tata Investment Corporation and Tejas Networks, collectively accounting for another ₹2,000 crore of the total loss.
