Swiss Investors Eye Indian Infrastructure Fund Backed by Saudi Collaboration

Swiss envoy Pietro Lazzeri, accompanying the AIIB Governor, met with Minister Al‑Jadaan and highlighted the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIFF) as a trustworthy partner for foreign investors. Lazzeri stressed that the fund adheres to high governance standards and offers transparency, making it attractive for Swiss capital seeking opportunities in Indian infrastructure. He also noted Switzerland’s interest in diversifying its portfolio through participation in the fund, especially for projects in transport, logistics and renewable energy.
