State‑Level Commitment to Space Tech Highlighted Post GSLV‑F17 Launch

Following the successful deployment of the EOS‑05 satellite by GSLV‑F17, Karnataka’s senior officials met with ISRO leadership to discuss future cooperation. Minister Ajay Dharma Singh lauded the scientists, engineers and technical staff whose work demonstrated India’s advanced capabilities in satellite technology.

He noted that the data from EOS‑05 will empower sectors such as farming, water resource management, environmental protection and disaster mitigation. Singh affirmed that the Karnataka government will continue to back space‑science initiatives, provide incentives for deep‑tech firms and create a conducive environment for research institutions.

The chief minister’s phone conversation with ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan reinforced the message that Karnataka aims to remain at the forefront of the nation’s space ecosystem, with ISRO’s guidance considered vital for the next phase of growth.
