Sony India has released the GP-VPT3 wireless shooting grip and the RMT-VP2 remote commander. The GP-VPT3 combines the functionality of a grip with wireless features, a tripod, and a detachable remote commander. Designed to streamline video and image capture, it’s compatible with the Alpha™ Series and Vlog Camera Series. The GP-VPT3 supports up to 1.5 kg, enabling one-handed zoom and focus operation. The RMT-VP2 remote commander allows shutter control from up to 10 meters away, ideal for group photos and low-light situations. Users can easily switch between shooting selfies and other images with the camera’s tilt function, offering flexible angle adjustments. Wireless connectivity with Sony cameras and Xperia™ smartphones is supported, maintaining dust and moisture resistance. The GP-VPT3 is priced at Rs 13,990, available in black and white, while the RMT-VP2 is priced at Rs 7,990. Both accessories will be available from June 10, 2025, at Sony Centres, Alpha Flagship stores, major electronic retailers, and online platforms like ShopatSC.com.
