Record 55.3 GW added in FY2025‑26, on track for 2030 500 GW goal

In the fiscal year 2025‑26, India commissioned a record 55.29 GW of non‑fossil power capacity, with solar contributing 44.6 GW and wind about 6 GW. This pushed renewable generation from 190.96 billion units in 2014‑15 to 477.79 billion units, more than doubling output in just over a decade.
