NTTM Grants Support Startups in Technical Textiles, ₹256 Crore Allocated for FY 2026-27

The National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM) has earmarked ₹256 crore for the financial year 2026‑27 to fuel its Grant for Research and Entrepreneurship in Technical Textiles (GREAT) scheme. The programme aims to nurture start‑ups, innovators, scientists and technologists by providing grants that convert research ideas into commercial technologies and products. Under the current cycle, 31 start‑ups with a collective cost of ₹15.40 crore have received approval, of which ₹13.65 crore is funded by the central government.
