New transmission initiatives boost renewable energy integration

To facilitate smooth power evacuation, the government is advancing the Green Energy Corridor scheme, constructing new transmission lines and substations. Projects commissioned by 30 June 2025 received a waiver on inter‑state transmission system (ISTS) charges for power sales, while a phased fee structure applies to future developments.
