Minister Calls for Nationwide Adoption of Steel Slag Road Technology

Dr. Jitendra Singh urged federal, state and private stakeholders to replicate the steel‑slag road model across India. He emphasized that the technology extends the maintenance cycle to about 15 years, reduces reliance on natural stone quarrying, and can be applied beyond highways to railways, ports and urban projects.
