A high-level national workshop hosted by NITI Aayog recently concluded in New Delhi, focusing on the mainstreaming of natural farming across India. The highlight of the workshop was the release of practical guidebooks tailored for farmers and extension workers. Governor Acharya Devvrat, addressing the assembly virtually, emphasized that natural farming is key to slashing input costs and boosting farmer incomes. Representatives from nine states, including Punjab, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, participated in the deliberations, sharing success stories and scientific insights to build a robust ecosystem for chemical-free cultivation.
