N Chandrasekharan Ends 40‑Year Tata Career, Leaves Chairmanship Open After 2027

After four decades of service to the Tata Group, N. Chandrasekharan has stepped down as chairman of Tata Sons. He began his Tata journey in 1987, rose to CEO of Tata Consultancy Services in 2009, and was appointed chair of Tata Sons in 2017. In his statement, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead the group and highlighted the honor and responsibility of steering the company for the past ten years.
