Ministers Cite Key Schemes Launched Under Modi’s Two‑Decade‑Plus Tenure

Senior ministers gathered on September 17 to reminisce about the landmark schemes introduced during Narendra Modi’s 25‑year stretch at the helm of the nation.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav applauded the prime minister’s vision for inclusive growth and expressed wishes for his enduring health.

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted how trade liberalisation, the startup ecosystem, and business‑friendly reforms have elevated India’s competitiveness on the world stage. He stressed that these moves have empowered small traders, tech innovators, and exporters alike.

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri recounted the rollout of social safety nets such as Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and Ayushman Bharat, underscoring their role in uplifting marginalized sections. He also pointed to progress in the energy domain—greater focus on domestic oil and gas production, expansion of power infrastructure, and a push for bio‑fuels and renewable sources.

Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Mathur added that the PM’s 25‑year journey has blended technological advancement with grassroots development, forging a new path for India’s future.
