Merchant groups pledge cooperation on digital payments post‑dialogue

Following the constructive dialogue, the trade bodies—including the All India Consumer Products Distributors Federation (AICPDF) and the All India Jewelers and Goldsmiths Federation (AIJGF)—committed to work closely with the government to strengthen the UPI framework. They emphasized the need for enhanced security measures, better cyber‑risk mitigation, and wider awareness campaigns at the state level to ensure that digital payment systems remain safe, reliable, and beneficial for every user.
