Linde India Sees Growing Momentum in Semiconductor Projects

Linde India’s Managing Director, Miland Sadhukhan, shared insights from Semicon 2026 about the company’s expanding role in the semiconductor supply chain. The firm is in dialogue with leading global chip manufacturers and a host of domestic start‑ups focused on packaging, testing and assembly services.

Sadhukhan emphasized that the combination of generous central‑government incentives and proactive state‑level support is creating a fertile ground for investment. He pointed out that several MoUs signed at the summit already reflect multi‑billion‑dollar commitments.

Linde India, already a major supplier of industrial gases, is leveraging its expertise to support new semiconductor fabs and ancillary facilities. The company is also scouting opportunities to provide specialty gases required for advanced lithography and wafer cleaning processes.

With the regulatory climate turning favorable and infrastructure promises being fulfilled, Linde expects to see a steady pipeline of projects that will reinforce India’s position as a key node in the global semiconductor value chain.
