iPhone 16 Series to Receive Significant Upgrade with iOS 26, Featuring Wireless Fast Charging

Apple is consistently introducing major updates with its new iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will soon feature Qi 2.2 wireless charging support. Previously, iPhone models only supported wireless charging at 25W speeds with Apple’s MagSafe Charger. However, third-party Qi chargers were limited to only 15W.

With the new update, this limit will be removed, and the iPhone 16 series will be able to charge at 25W speeds with any Qi 2.2 charger.
