The ministry plans to allocate substantial subsidies, tax breaks and infrastructure support, but only after each applicant’s business case is validated. This cautious approach aims to attract credible investors while safeguarding taxpayer money.
According to Krishnan, both large domestic players and multinational corporations have expressed strong interest, drawn by India’s deep talent pool and the stability promised by a transparent policy framework.
