Investigation Launched After Air India A320Nio Faces Sudden Altitude Drop
Following the turbulence episode on flight AI2379, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has opened a detailed probe into the cause of the abrupt altitude change. Air India confirmed that the flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) have been secured and transferred to the investigative team. The airline has also informed the aircraft manufacturer of the incident and pledged full cooperation with the regulatory authorities.
