India becomes key site for Google’s Pixel phones as new models debut

Google’s newest Pixel 11 family has arrived in India, marking a decisive move to anchor its smartphone production in the country. The decision aligns with India’s push for local manufacturing and a rapidly expanding electronics ecosystem that attracts global brands.

The series includes the standard Pixel 11, a Pro version, an XL Pro, and a Foldable Pro model. All devices run on the Tensor G6 chip, paired with the Titan M3 security processor, delivering enhanced performance, AI‑driven features, and robust protection for user data.

The Gemini Nano AI suite powers real‑time language translation, intelligent photo processing and contextual assistance, positioning the phones as AI‑first devices. Prices range from ₹89,999 for the base model to ₹1,86,999 for the Foldable Pro, reflecting a premium pricing strategy.

Google also launched the Pixel Watch 5, priced at ₹42,900 for the smaller case and ₹45,900 for the larger one. The company plans to strengthen its service footprint, roll out flexible payment plans and continue investing in the Pixel ecosystem to capture a larger share of the Indian market.
