Home and Property Loans Surge 624% via AAs

Home‑loan and loan‑against‑property products surged through AAs, with 1.09 lakh loans totalling ₹20,777 crore—a 624 percent rise YoY. Banks contributed 47.3 percent of the AA‑driven loan value in the latter half of FY 2025‑26, on par with NBFCs. New‑to‑credit borrowers made up 18.2 percent of AA‑originated loans, while women borrowers accounted for 19.8 percent of loan counts.
